Default BES 4.0 Wireless Address Book on Domino

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all, I was wondering if anybody has came across this issue before and knows of any resolution to it.

My company has recently purchased a BES (V4.0) and 50 blackberry’s and everything seems to be going pretty well with the exception of an issue that our director is having (it’s always someone high up that has issues huh?).

She is using the blackberry to update her contacts in the field and then syncing them wirelessly. Now this is fine for any new contacts she has but any changes she makes to contacts that she has in her address book are creating a conflict. Now as the server is set to win on a conflict, she is loosing any of the updates she has entered.

Now I know I could change the settings on the BES so that the handheld wins, but I can imagine a instance where she will do the reverse and then she will complain about loosing data from her lotus account. So my question is, is there anyway to set either the blackberry or lotus to prompt for changes in conflicts? Or does anyone have any suggestions on how I could work around this?

Thanks for you help!

Are you using the iNotes address book or a replica of her Personal Address Book on a server for synchronizing? Does this user have any other 3rd party applications that access her address book?
