Question draft folder from server not in BB

Please Login to Remove!

Hello and good morning.

The following is to inquire if there is any way to have the outlook draft folder synchrozine with the BB. I'm currently using BES with Exchange My Mail as my exchange server and they have advised my that the draft folder in the BB is different from the one used by outlook.

Does anyone have a work around for this issue?

Regards.

in the BES user setup, DRAFTS is not listed as a choice...which I'm sure you already know.

Why not just create a new Outlook folder, drag your Draft messages to it, and then set that folder to sync with the BB via BES Admin properties.

Did this work? I am wondering if I should suggest this to my Admin.

I don't see how this would work.

The handheld only receives new messages when they trigger an alert on Exchange as a new delivered email. Moving a draft email from Drafts to your extra folder would not trigger this alert, just a moved message notification.

Since the handheld would not have this email, then the BES would do nothing about it.

One of our users has his Drafts folder on his BB list of enabled forlders, but none of the other users do. We can't seem to figure out how he managed this as it is the default Outlook Drafts folder and not a folder he created. Anyone have any insight?

strange...have you tested it? does it sync drafts? because as far as I was aware, there is no drafts folder syncing available in BES
