i'm trying to remove the instance of a former bes user from the bes manager console. his device has been reissued to another user who is working fine. i tried to remove him before wiping the device yet his user name still shows, he's still utilizing one of the available licenses, and the IT policy settings still show him listed! when i remove him, after i manually refresh the window, his name reappears in a few seconds, along with all his stats which i've cleared about a dozen times. please help!

did you choose the remove Blackberry info from mailbox when removing him? I'd also close the Manager and reopen.

of course. about 15 times. it just pops back in there immediately after, and still actively updates his "pending" queue, even though there is no associated device with his instance on the bes and i disabled his account. i've also rebooted the bes, run the BESUserAdminClient tool from the bes to remove him (which doesn't work). now the application log generates warnings every few minutes for his account since there is no device associated so i had to set the log to delete as necessary because i can't stop the warnings due to the account having a mind of its own! it's also chewing up an available license on the bes.

may have to go into the SQL and delete. Dunno.

I would get another BB and activate it with his account. If that goes well, send a wipe to the device and then try removing him.

I have to say, I've never had a problem like that, but sometimes you have to turn two circles, hop twice on your left foot, and blink once to get technology to work
