Default One of my BES user has an enourmous amount of data transfer on his bill!!!???

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have a user on my BES which in 20 days of normal utilisation got a 40 mb of transfer.
The average per user on the server is usually 1-3 mb per month what could be the cause of this enormous amount of data transfer.

I am turning to this forum because this user's profile is very similar to the other ones are there some options i should be double checking or disabeling

Also what are the forwarded message because this number is over a 1000

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7130e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/104)

The forwarded messages are those that have been sent from the device.

As for the high usage, is the person using it as a modem? That may cause that high of usage.

SMS text messaging?
Any IM clients? They have been known to rack up usage charges.

Is there something he's checking on an internet site that is set to auto-refresh? There are a couple of ESPN sites that have auto-refresh functionality for sports scores (I use the one for hockey and the one for football).

The user has sametime setuped on his handheld but he says he is not communicating with it! And no he has not been browsing.
This is just very strange. Do you any place that could be checked for logs of the transactions (Either in the BES or in Domino)?
