I have configured one user using 7100g blackberry device and activated user using wireles activation option and everything seems to be working fine till user complaint to me that his address book is not updating wirelessly. I told him to check the Address Book --> Options and he couldn't find the Wireles Synchronization "Yes" option. Then I activated the device again andthe option appear. I want to know is there any specific reason that option was not showing at first time. Because I never changed any user settings at server level to enable that option.

Is the user trying to synch their address's via the Desktop Manager? If so, then that takes away the option to synch wirelessly on the BB.

You also have to initiate a synch from the LN client so that it sends the address book to the server and then once that DB is populated on the server then the user should be able to view that option.

There is no desktop manager software involved in the process because it is using 4.0 server. Also address book was first updated and when I confiured the device user was able to see all address book entries. When he modified the entries those update were not transferring to blackberry even though they got transferred to LN server copy. From that point I told user to check the Wireless Sync option and that was not present at that time.

Hmmm... We only have one 7100, so I am not sure. Is there an updated OS version? (just a shot in the dark there...)
