Question Modem Security Risks??

Please Login to Remove!

Are there any security risks in allowing users to use their Blackberry devices as modems? Just wondering if I should disable the IP Modem setting in the new policy I'm creating.

Thanks in advance for your input.

We disable IP Modem for some of our users more because of bandwidth limitations, and not so much for security reasons.
There's always going to be a few users who tether and start downloading movies and TV shows from iTunes. Depending on usage, they could surpass Verizon's 5GB limit rather easily.

I don't think so at least no more than normal, I do it. If I want to get into a network I VPN in.
I am against picketing but I donít know how to show it.
