I have set up BES running on windows 2003 server and Exchange 2003. Am able to recieve mails from all domains but when I send to some domains, it doesn't go. after a while I get the following error messages "There was a smtp cmmunuication problem with the recipient's email server.#5.5.0smtp;550 "the recipient cannot be verified. "
When I send the mail from gmail to the same recipient, it goes. What could be the problem pls?

Could it be a dns problem?

Sounds like a DNS problem ... Microsoft KB Article 300171 - You are unable to send or receive SMTP messages from certain Internet domains in Exchange 2000 Server, in Exchange Server 2003, and in Small Business Server 2003

In addition to the MX record, do you have a PTR record setup as well? Many mailservers won't accept your mail if they can't do a reverse lookup via PTR.

I Admin for 4 websites and I can't get my "Domain" mail on my Pearl...what's up w/ that? thx
