Default Remove password from BB

Please Login to Remove!

We have a BES setup with about 500 users on it. Recently, we implemented a forced password policy on the Blackberry devices. I am having a slight problem removing the passwords from the returned Blackberry's. Even if the user is removed from the BES and the device is wiped clean (and I mean a thorough wipe which includes removing the OS and reinstalling it), the device still comes up and wants a new password entered. Short of activating the BB for a test user and removing the forced password policy, is there any other way to remove the password policy from the device?

The policy remains until a new one is applied.

That would be the easiest way.
Otherwise you can take steps to manually remove the IT policy... but I'm not sure why you'd choose this method of resolving your issue when you have a BES at your fingertips.

Like Alan said is what I would do. Apply the default policy so no password is required. Problem solved, unless you changed the default policy...
