Default Meeting requests not sending

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone, new to the forums, looking for some help.

One of our users has discovered that they cannot send meeting requests from their blackberries. upon further testing, I've found that all of our blackberries are affected. I'm not sure when this started, but I know it's been going on since at least Friday(5 days before someone decided to let the IT department know )

Now, the messages aren't even getting through to the outlook inbox. the wonderful red "x" shows up on the device.

I'm not quite sure what is going on with it, any help would be appreciated.

BES 4.1/Exchange 2007 is what we are running.

Welcome to BB Forums!

The first suspect with any calendar problem is CDO.DLL (I am not a BES Admin, but that has always worked in the past). Can you check to see what versions of CDO.DLL are running on both the BES and the Exchange Server?

Thanks.

Always nice to have alert users

If you have one of the affected users open the red X message, what is the Message Status?

unlisted message error.

I'm just investigating the cdo.dll now, but since only BB's are affected, I'm not sure if that's going to be it.

It very well could be the CDO.DLL if it's not at the same or higher version on the BES then on the Exchange server.
