Default MDS Runtime activation problem

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, i'm new on this forum and new in the blackberry world.
I'm developping softwares with the mds studio and have to administrate a bes mds for that purpose.
We received a BB 8800 and after doing the enterprise activation i couldn't get a mds runtime to run on it, i installed a patch (v.4.2.1) which helped me to do it.
I have the mds runtime v 1.1.1.25 in my list of apps but can't activate it (don't even have the menu to do it).
Did i forget something after the install of the runtime so i can activate it ?
Thanks for your answers

Might sound silly, but do you have a MDS Server to connect to?

The MDS Activation menu is on the options menu...in the main options, not advanced...
So you are saying it is just simply not on the menu?

Thanks for the reply.
I resolved the problem uninstalling the runtime from the device then reinstalling the one given with the 8800 series software instead of the one by default.
I guess i'll have to do that for every different model ?!
