NeedText and BES?
 

A number of months ago Blackberry bought NeedText and there was hope it would be added to BES via a service pack.... to date, I dont think that has occured, has it? If not, any ideas when we may see it?

We are in need of some type of better monitoring than we have now, and we are considering looking into BoxTone.

Just had a RIM roadmap meeting last week and this product "freebie download" is now stuck in their law division and has no release date. I'm hoping soon as we really need some monitoring.

we just picked up Boxtone because we host several thousand users. Boxtone is really the only alternative if you have ALOT of users.
If you don't then just just berry stats (free) or wait untill RIM releases their needtext monitoring thing. I have heard that it is very striped down but will work for your average small business bes.

Boxtone does look very nice and I'd love to get it .. just convincing management as the $$$ is steep.
