Default BES Server Status

Please Login to Remove!

We had a situation this morning, where our BES Server stopped. When we opened Blackberry Manager, taking a look at Server Configuration, the status was "Stopped". However, all the associated Blackberry Services were running. We are running version 4.1. My question since it seems that this wasn't service related, what would be the best way of monitoring it. We want an alert to be emailed, if the BES Server's status moves to Stopped? Any ideas.

4.1 has BES Alerts which will show when services are stopped / restarted. As well there is a white paper on what to monitor in the event log. (I'll have to dig it out, just search for BES monitoring in the KB)
