Default Configuring a device for a new BES server

Please Login to Remove!

We are replacing our BES server, and are considering just reconfiguring the phones for a new BES server (rather than trying to backup/restore the database and config from our old server).

Can anyone point me to the procedure for switching our Blackberries to the new BES server?

Thanks!

How many users do you have?
Are you using a remote SQL server for your database or local MSDE?

If you really want to re-provision all the devices then set a default IT Policy with no settings; push it to the devices ... confirm that the devices have received the policy ... remove them from them BES ... add them to the new bes ... have them wipe their devices ... ea on the new server.

You could avoid all of that by simply connecting the new BES to the same database and dragging and dropping users to the new BES (after setting proper permissions if they need to be set of course).

Explain your environment a bit more and what you're really looking to do.
