Default BES Exress problems

First and foremost thank you to everyone. I was able to Install BES Express on my SBS 2003 server by reading the posts in this forum. I have installed it in the past on standalone boxes but SBS presented some issues that I had never encountered before.

With that I am am having issues with getting the device to sync. Ultimately it times out with an error stating that it can not sync. Review of the windows event log shows the following errors.

BlackBerry Synchronization Service Event ID 16068 [SYNC-Gate] Failed to get last ChangeNumber from SyncServerState table, can't continue to check user config change.

BlackBerry MDS Connection Service Event ID 15000
2007-06-08 21:54:40.394 EDT>:[4199]:<MDS-CS_SERVER_MDS-CS_1>:<ERROR>:<LAYER = SCM, EVENT = java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBMSLPCN]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.>

Can anyone shed some light on this. I believe I have exhausted the forums looksing for answers.

Many thanks in advance,
Mike

I think this will do it for you ...
BlackBerry Collaboration Service and BlackBerry MDS Services fail to start after installation

You have Tx0 for a few months with BES Express ... you might want to give RIM a call if this doesn't do it for you. I'm sorry; I don't know more about the nuances of BES Express.
