Default BES 4.1 with Hosted Exchange

Hi All,

We currently have our exchange outsourced through Fasthosts.

Is it possible to install a BES Server in house, but get it to connect to our outsourced Exchange Server?

Is it possible? Yes.

Is it best practice? Depends ... I wouldn't recommend it.

You'll need a VPN Tunnel and a low-latency reliable connection ... this is adecent article even though its a bit older ... Best practices for having an application service provider host a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Most likely you'll get more trouble than benefit ... We don't host remote BES Exchange servers because of the added complexity and inability to have control over the entire environment to properly optimize it.
