Blank Emails Being Received
We've got a BES SBS 4.1 Express SP3.
I have an 8100 which has v18.104.22.168. It is configured as a BES Client and It links with my malbox which is on our own Exchange 2003 server.
The problem we have is that occasionally, if I send someone an email external to our company but cc someone internally the external person will get the message, but the internal person gets the header and subject, but the body of message is BLANK - no text no nothing.
Its purely random. The actual message when I look in my Sent folder in Outlook is absolutely correct and I can see what I typed on my 8100 device.
I'm not getting any error messages so can't figure out where to go from here.
I have confirmed if I send a msg from the device to an external user, it is fully recieved by the receipent each and every time.
Any pointers would be greatful.
I haven't seen / heard of this before ... I hate to say it but have you tried removing yourself from the BES & wiping your device and trying again?
I'm from Costa Rica and sometime find that my English not so good, but Im having same problem. I will try to wipe out device and see if works. Thank you!!

If the message is intact in your sent items folder then it was fine when submitted to the Exchange server. So the issue is not with the BB or BES. It would have to be modified by the BB or BES before hitting the Exchange server. I've seen issues like that before and it is not your BlackBerry or BES. If you study message flow for BES you will see that any message sent from a BlackBerry hits the Exchange server last before being sent to the internet and the recipient. It should be blank for everyone if the BES is stripping the body because it would be submitted to the Exchange server in that format. I do know that some WAN Accelerators do strip the bodies of emails when sent from a BB. You could check into that as well.
