Default Reconciliation not working properly

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I have a strange reconcialiation problem with the BBs on the network.

This is what happens
  • When an email arrive in the mailbox it arrives in the BB (no shit)
  • If we delete the mail from the BB, on the next send/receive on the mailbox the mail goes as well.
  • However, if we delete the email from the mailbox it doesn't delete from the blackberry

I have made some changes to my reconciliation settings and set it up as follows

Delete on: Mailbox and blackberry
Wireless Reconcile: On
On Conflicts: Mailbox wins

The problem is that one of the directors wants to leave his 'delete on' setting at prompt and this is when I cannot get it to work.

Can anyone suggest a way to have the setting at prompt but still reconcile properly?

thx

Is he soft-deleting (goes to deleted items) or hard-deleting (shift + delete)?

What version of BES are you running? Is he moving the email to the deleted items folder, or over to a personal folder? And if the user is deleting messages, how long is he waiting until he empties the deleted items folder?
