Default Migrating licence Exchange to Domino

Please Login to Remove!

Do you know hot to migrate an "Exchange BES" with 2 CAL (30 total user) in Domino?
I have already a "Domino BES Domino, and now i'm shooting down the Exchange BES, but I want to reuse the payd licence to increase the Domino users from 20 to 50.
Thanks

My suggestion is that you give RIM a call and see what can be done. Since the CAL's are not platform specific, you should be able to transfer them, but I might be wrong.

The keys.txt file will contain the "CAL Authentication Key". It's usually in the form of "besxXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX". The "X" represent alpha-numeric characters. Use the BM tool to import the CAL keys. It should be under the license management section...there you can "add" the license keys.

you could simply open up the management console and look at the license information and write down the key as well.

is it possible to reuse also the bes licence? In italy RIM sell the bes with 20 licence in. Then sell various CAL (1-5-10 user).
If this bes has the 20 base licence and a 5 user cal, i will see 2 licence, or only one?

thanks again
