Is there a way, and I'm sure there must be, to enforce a policy that requests a PIN to be entered on a device a) when it is turned on and b) when it has been inactive for x mins?

I've hunted high and low but not been able to find these options.....

Cheers

Yes. In your IT policy you can define minimum pw length (and complexity) as well as setting the keyboard lock interval. You'll also want to be sure that you've removed the users ability to change the lock time. I'm not looking @ the BES mgr right now, so I can't say exactly where these options are, but they're all next to each other and not to difficult to find.

If by PIN you mean password ... then yes ...

All the details are in the Policy Reference Guide

There are all different things you can do with passwords / complexity / time-outs ... search for "password" within the document.
