Default Changing IP

Please Login to Remove!

Ive got a question, which may be answered by anyone of you...
Im going to change my BES to another VLAN.Thats why im going to change my private IP into a new one.
My questions are:
How can i change this IP?
Will the network work properly after this change?
Which elements do i have to bear in mind?(ports, connections with other mail servers...)
Thank you so so much!!!!

Old question, but I too was looking for this info and found it on the RIM Support Site:

The name given to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server during installation is by default the NetBIOS name of the computer on which the BlackBerry Enterprise Server software is installed; however, changing the NetBIOS name does not affect the operation of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Additionally, changing the IP address of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server does not affect functionality.

Changing the IP and NETBIOS name of the Server wont hurt anything. Probably just want to push out a DNS update once you change it. Also verify that the new IP has access to outbound TCP Port 3101 for SRP Connections.

Hope this helps someone...
