I swapped out my 7250 for a 8830 activation goes well until I get to contacts. Contacts start to synch then I get the "an error occured contact your system admin error". The contact continue to synch until completed the device never completed a successful activation. Email seem to synch when deleted from the desktop not the other way around as well. Any ideas. I have tried to wipe three times and start from scratch.

You could have a corrupt contact in there. That happens. Have you tried the activation wirelessly with a password or using the cable?

Doing my activation OTA. Seem to be having email issues as well. Will delete on the device but not my outlook.

Should I update or resend the service books?

i put the phone by the window and got a activation complete. It just a bad signal. funny.
