Domino mail file is essentially a Notes database which you are free to do a lot of things like:-

(1) Cut/copy and paste mail documents,
(2) Write agents to modify mail documents etc.

These actions however will cause older email messages to be resent to the BlackBerry devices because the modified date has been changed.

These are my experiences.

as noname already you never know what the user is doing,
and as House MD always say: Everybody lies!
we had similar problems with an archiving software, which modified the documents.

the same happend to our users, the archiving agent had modified the documents in the users mail box, as a result on the blackberry device the old mails reappear.
