An existing Blackberry server was just recently added to my list of responsibilities. I have very limited knowledge of Lotus Notes, and even less knowledge about the blackberry server. I’ve actually had very few problems with adding new users, but my lack of knowledge is catching-up to me today.
I’m having an issue with one new user’s Desktop Manager connecting to the blackberry server.
I’m getting the following message: “The blackberry server is either unavailable or specified incorrectly”
I was able to initially connect to the server to activate the blackberry after generating and Email activation password on Blackberry Manager. Email is moving to/from the blackberry, I can ping the blackberry server from the desktop. But, desktop manager will not connect to the blackberry server. The Lotus Notes setting keeps defaulting to our Notes Server (not the blackberry).

Any information/ pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!
