Default Sync Personal Address Book

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to sync a user's personal address book to his blackberry on his Home PC if he's on the company BES.

I was thinking of just getting the user to export his contacts, and important them on one of the office computers and sync his blackberry there, but the employee works out of a remote location so going to the office is a hassle.

Is there any way for him to maybe email contacts to his blackberry as an attachment? He uses Outlook Express at home.

Company's running BES 3.6, Outlook/Exchange 2003.

Default

Get him to download Desktop Manager.
Make sure the settings are set to not push changes down to the PC, so don't sync just import.

You can change the PIM config to look for Outlook.
Once their on the device, then they can replicate wirelessly.

Although some phone numbers on outlook use the Other field which isn't synchn'd, so you would need to edit the Field Mapping in PIM config Advanced options.
