Does the enterprise server need to be registered with a particular cellular host or is it totally independent of the cellular network. In other words, after I purchase BES, do I have to decide on a service provide so that I can connect with the Blackberries out in the field or does it just need an internet connection?

Someone told me that you had to select one carrier for the server to upline to inorder to connect to the handhelds. Is this true? Thanks!
