Default Outlook on server hosting BES

Does anyone know why you can't have Outlook installed on a BES server?

I know it's noted in the installation prerequisites for BES, but it doesn't really tell you why.

One of my clients installed Outlook 2003 to a server hosting BES 4 last week without my knowledge to support an application, and while it hasn't broken BES, I'd like to know what might happen.

Oh... it breaks the cdo.dll and the mapi profile IIRC... I think you need to run the fixmapi CLI program.
