Question 1 user on 2 BES instances

Please Login to Remove!

Hello, I have a weird problem/Bug. I have a blackberry user who has been added to 2 different BES instances (Each instance resides on a different Physical server), But the BES servers reside in the same exchange environment. Has anyone come across this issue as if you add a user, if they have already been added to an instance, when you readd them, it will notify you that they already reside on one of the instances.

The BES environment is as follows:

BES 3.6.4 running on Windows 2000 (two standby servers, two active servers)
MSDE is used for the database
There are 2 instances running on each physical server
The exchange environ is Exchange 5.5 running on NT.4.0
The BES all use the same admin account

Any info much appretiated

I ended up locking myself out of my Exchange mailbox when I did this same method but on BES 4.0. I had to reboot the BES server in order to free the lock on my mailbox.

I thought this might be possible if the user had there mailbox restored from backup and did not have the hidden Blackberry folders restored in the process. Another thing that might have occured is if the BES lost connection to the MSDE database and the user was moved has the system would be using cached information.

I've run into this 3 times in the last 3 days. Only way I can get around it is to run DBClean on the user's mailbox and then add them to BES.
