I mistakenly installed the BES client onto a Client's computer. The intent was to use the plain BB Desktop. It changed the setting for outgoing mail on his BB7290 and I cant figure out how to remove the setting in the Blackberry device. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the standard desktop device, the the mobile unit is still messed up.

Every outgoing mail message contains a message like:

Someone here can be a total life saver if you tell me how to reset his Blackberry to use regular Outlook / Web mail settings, or even where to read..

Go into your Service Book settings and remove all Desktop [] service books. Uninstall Desktop Manager from your laptop/desktop. Reinstall it, choosing Desktop Redirector. Hook your handheld up to your machine and open Desktop Manager (that should get the service book for BDR, if thats what you want). If you simply want to use BWC, you won't have a need to install BDM, imo.

To be clear, when you say:
where is it that I "go" into? Are service book settings on the blackberry unit, or on the desktop. I had previously uninstalled the desktop manager and put the one in that we need.

There is the requirement to use the Desktop Redirector, for he wants to sync the calendar and contacts from Outlook, while using the live email functions via BWC. It seems the settings for the BWC are what is messed up, for the syncing of the Outlook client works fine now.

They are on the handheld, under Options then Service Books. This will only affect the Desktop Redirector/BES settings, though...

I removed three fies related to the desktop, re-setup the desktop redirecotr software (as you said this profile would get baked in the process), re-synced the calendar and contacts, and sent off some mails.

No more scramble egg in my face.
