Default BB Model Info missing on user's account

Please Login to Remove!

I'm running BES 4.1.2 on Exchange.

After I migrated users from 7290 to 8700, when I log in to BES it failed to update/display the user's BB Model, OS Version, Phone #, etc. All the fields are just blank. Does anybody know how I can update this manually? Thanks.

It can't be updated manually.
How long ago did you do the activation on the 8700? Sometimes these things just take a little time to fix themselves.

Right now there's probably 4-5 of them that do not show the BB model info. The oldest one is probably a good 1-2 months. This is frustrating because it's neither showing the BB phone # nor the IMEI so if I need those information I have to look somewhere else.

Wirelessly posted (Breaking Ball: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8300/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

Have you tried re-activating those devices by doing another wireless EA?

When an Enterprise Activation does not complete properly the BlackBerry will work properly but the BlackBerry info does not populate correctly.

The device information is updated during an EA if the slow sync part of it is successfully completed. What you can do is delete and undelete the Desktop[SYNC] service book to kick off the slow sync. Note that slow sync is not immediate to take effect. It depends on BES load and will take up to 30min - 60min to complete.

Happened again this morning with a brand new 8700 activation.

Re-run Wireless Enterprise Activation again and the model info are populated on BES.
