Default Application push does not work

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,
i've some problems with pushing applications via the blackberry enterprise server 4.1.
So indexing the application and creating a software configuration on the bes works fine. But if I want to push the application on a device nothing happens.
The Blackberry manager says that the device-configuration status is ok, the system status and the application status is up to date (???????) but there is nothing on the device.
Has anyone an idea where the problem is??

How to wirelessly deploy third-party applications to BlackBerry devices

Did you wait the requisite 4 hours after creating and assigning; or change the registry to shorten this time? Can you post a screenshot of what you see for this particular user & your application you created?

Hi,
thank you for your reply.
I've just googled again for the problem and I think I found the solution.
It seems that the device.xml on the BES was too old. We are using BES 4.1 and Blackberry 8800. So I've installed the latest Blackberry Desktop Manager on my laptop and copied the device.xml from my laptop on the server. After restarting the services on the BES and 4 hours of being patient the application has been pushed to the device.

What do you mean with the registry key??

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\BlackBerry IT Admin Server]
"AppProvisioningPollInterval"=dword:00000005

After setting this and restarting services instead of having to wait up to 4 hours for an app to deploy it should take < 5 minutes. That said, don't make a change this drastic to a production enviornment. I used this for doing mass provisioning / deployments in person.
