| IT Policy error - Licenses? Please Login to Remove! Hey all, I'm having a problem adding a new user to BES. I'm running 3.6 and have 5 client access licenses. This is what happened:
--
I originally setup 4 users on the BES and they were working fine. One of the users no longer used their BB so it was free for another user. So I deleted this user out of BES and got some errors:
--
"Unable to remove the IT Policy user from the database. Please ensure that the database is available and the SQLServer is running."
--
"Unable to remove a Server-PIN-Email mapping by Email from the database. Please ensure that the database is available and the SQLServer is running."
--
Yes, the SQLServer is running, I don't know what it means by if the database is available.
--
I clicked OK to these two things and the user was removed. Then I added that new user to BES and it gives an error right away:
--
"Unable to add the IT Policy user from the database. Please ensure that the database is available and the SQLServer is running."
--
I click OK and then the user's status will be stuck at Initializing (waited a day/restarted services/server etc.) I just checked the IT Policy (only have one, "Default") - and it says "# of users - 4", so I check the 4 users and the three people who currently have a BB are on there, plus the fourth original guy that has recently been removed/changed. I cannot add or remove users to this policy. If I click add users, it won't let me input anything into the box that comes up. I also cannot create a new policy, because it yells at me that it cant add the IT policy to the database. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks guys! |
