Default Problems with excel attachments

Please Login to Remove!

Hello

I'm experiencing something very strange. I have a BES 4.1.3 for Lotus, and users have 8300 and 8800 devices. Sometimes, excel (and also pdf) files can't be viewed when you recieve them as attachments, but only some of the 8800 devices have this problem. When I try it with other devices, there is no problem. There isn't anything peculiar about those files, they are only a list of shopping items, without formatting, macros, etc., but when I open them I get only weird symbols.

Does anyone have a clue about what can cause this behaviour?

Thanks

Do these same people also have no problem viewing these attachments at their desktop?

Hi

They use different versions of Excel, and they have no problems opening and viewing them at their desktops

Apparently it's not a problem with BES, nor the devices in general, because only some of the users are experiencing this situation. It isn't even a problem with the device software, because all the 8800 have the same version. Could it be something related to the SIM Card? One of the users said that when he changed it, the problem was fixed.

Thanks
