Default Add Prosumer Device to BES

Please Login to Remove!

Hi (I am based in the UK using o2)

I currently have two devices.

My own personal Mobile and my company provided Blackberry.

I want to merge this and only carry 1 device, but want to keep my number and not the Blackberry number.

If I upgrade my own mobile to a Blackberry Curve can this be joined to a BES server or will this only work with BIS?

Thanks

Paul

All Blackberries will work on BES as long as a BES/BB data plan is provisioned on the account.

absolutely it'll work on your BES; just make sure you get an Enterprise BlackBerry Data plan and not a Personal BlackBerry Data plan.

I would think several without issue; else there would be no BB users on o2 This looks to be the link to info on it: BlackBerry from O2 - BlackBerry Pearl™

Probably best to ring their customer care department.

You will need to speak to O2 business sales, as their consumer side know nothing about this. However, expect to pay £££ monthly for this service, as O2 do not discount for individuals!

You do also realise that this means that your employer can now track and monitor your emails, SMS ,calls, etc etc? Just a warning!
