Default Contacts Missing

Please Login to Remove!

A users devise is missing contacts 1-9 and A-b. All other contacts sync OTA.

If i add a contact "A A" it shows up on device and exchange.

Everything else appears to sync fine except the first few contacts in exchange.

Any thoughts on this, any steps to troubble shoot?

We are on the version 4.1 of BES, and exchange2003

Have you tried a battery pull? My contacts were 'sporadic' in populating my berry: they were there when incoming calls came in, but not when I attempted to look them up.

This was the only fix I found.

Verify the correct address book is entered into the Pim Sync Settings in BES MAnager for that profile.

Then, Restart the Windows Service Task of the BB Sync Process.

1. set contacts sync to no, then back to yes (forces resynch)
2. delete all local desktop service books ( re-activate)
3. delete account on BES, then re-activate (remember BES stores all service books for each indiviual account)
