I have added a new account and the user can get email but can not send any.

I've wiped the BB and deleted and recreated the account on the BES.
Server information is as follows:
Blackberry Enterprise Server v 4.1.0.38
Running on Microsoft Windows 2003 r2

Exchange server is Windows Small Business Server 2003.

I do get these two errors from the event log:

Unable to send messages because the Send As permission has been revoked

This user is a Domain Admin, yes.

You either need to modify the AdminSDHolder object (not recommended), or make this user not be a domain admin. Best practice says users are users and administrators are administrators. If someone's job requires them to be an administrator they should have a separate account used for administrating and they should use their user account when using the system(s).

Principle of least privilege.

So after removing myself from Domain Admins, etc. I can send mail from my BB with no problem.

The only thing I need to think about is how much I want to be inconvenienced by these changes...

How in depth is the changes that I would have to make? Have you done it before?

Its fairly simple, and it works ... I just don't like changing things that are set a specific way because its easier (yet less secure) for me.
