although for most practical functionality, the one available in 4.1 does support OCS 2007 - just not officially and it is prone to do weird things (like not show people online or their presence) and randomly stop working

...but that's still only within an Exchange 2003 environment.

Wondering if someone could fill me in with a little info on how Enterprise messenger (?not even sure what the name is now) works. I can't seem to find much information on it.
The only link i can find on this is BlackBerry - BlackBerry Instant Messaging for Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005

My questions are:

- Where would be the best place to keep checking for an update on campatibility with OCS 2007 + exchange 2007.
- What needs to be installed on the BES? We are running 4.1.x.
- Any timeline for 2007 exchange and ocs support? Does it work anyways even though it says in the admin guides only 2005 is supported?
- A link to a white paper or install/admin guide on this would be cool.

Sorry to seem so helpless but i just cant find anything on this subject other than marketing crap.

Same here. We're going to roll out OCS 2007 and the Communicator on the BlackBerry devices would be incredibly useful.

OCS 2007 support slated to be in 4.1.6 which should be out this Summer.
