|  How to monitor MDSS app errors found in its log

I've googled and found none. Having occassional HTTP errors e.g. 500 Internal server errors logged against the web services that is associated with one of our in-house MDSS apps. I noticed that these never made to the Windows Event Viewer's application log which I cannot track. How can I monitor these errors?
