Default Can anyone help, no emails, application errors in event viewer

Can anyone please assist me!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a system administrator for an ISP. We have a Blackberry Enterprise Server connected to exchange 2007. The BES has 68 Blackberries on it. We are getting constant incidents where emails are not coming in on time and calendar/contact sync issues as well. On the email server is a massive disk bottleneck. Our email server gets hit hard by many sources.

I suspect that the BES's MAPI commands are not porcessed. This was confirmed by looking on the BES's application event log as there are numerous warnings showing errors such as "GetNewMessages() failed" etc.

Our Exchange 2007 server also needs patches as it was just installed a few months ago.

Can anyone please give me some advice on what to do next. Rebooting the server each time emails are not coming through is not good.

Check out this post ... 4.1 sending messages in batches?

and look at those perfmon counters on Exchange. If mail is being delivered (just not in a timely fashion) this could very well be the culprit.

Did you follow this guide: Exchange 2007 BES Install Guide - 100% Fully Functional for the Exchange 2007 setup?
