Default First post and I got a question

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All
Ok one quick question to get started I have just been given the task to administer user accounts on our BES we are running version 4.1.
My question is. When an Outlook 03 user creates a new folder how long does it take for BES to show the folder on the device. We are using both the 8830 from Verizon and the 8800 from AT&T.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Are you looking to sync this newly created folder? By default only the Inbox and Sent Items sync ...

Check this out - Enable Folder Redirection with Inbox subfolders

Thanks hdawg this answered another question I had. However is there a way to view the subfolder on the device to see the messages in that folder alone?

If the folder exists in Outlook and you see it on the handheld, Enable Folder Redirection from the handheld for the folder (s) and it will show the contents.

I get the messages for the subfolder but I want to view the contents of the folder by itself. This is a new subfolder that was created after BES activation. I have enabled redirection on the device for the new folder. But when I go into messages hit menu then view folder, the folder does not show up.
