I run a BES that has 120 users.
We run Blackberry Manager 220.127.116.11
Lately, we have complaints from a lot of users, saying that the RECONCILE NOW option has disappeared.
This wouldn't be a problem, except that when this disappears, the handheld stops synching with their mailbox.
According to the Blackberry Support Website, it could be one of three causes:
1) The Service Book is corrupt
2) The Wireless Reconciliation option is not enabled on the BES
3) The Blackberry Database is corrupt and requires reactivation
Resending the service book makes no difference.
The wireless reconciliation IS enabled on the BES
Reactivating the handheld works, but it's a pain in the proverbial.
We are finding that we are having to do this regularly. Even after a handheld is reactivated, the user has a month of worry free emails before it happens again.
I am wondering if anybody knows why this continually occurs.
If so, how can we nip it in the bud, so I don't have to reactivate handhelds every day?
