Question Caller ID / Contacts

Please Login to Remove!

Please advice.

I administer BES 4.1 and Exchange 6.5 server. All contacts have been recently updated to show "Company Name" and now the caller ID on all of our blackberrys display "Company Name" rather than the usual "FirstName LastName".

Is there a setting on either the BES server or Blackberrys (7130) to display "FirstName LastName" instead of "Company Name".

Thank you in advanced.

I'm not sure if this would help but you can change the PIM Sync Field Mapping on the BES (BlackBerry Domain->Under the Global Tab->Service Control & Customization->Edit PIM Sync Global Field Mapping

Hope this helps.

That worked Wusmani, edited PIM Sync field "Company Name" on Desktop to "Clear" in device on a per user/group basis rather than globally.

This basically prevented the Company field from appearing in the BBs Contact address book.

I did have to disable/re-enable Wireless Sync and resend the Service Books. Advice for others: test solution on a per user basis first.

Thanks
