Default BES 4.0 for GroupWise - attachments will not download

Please Login to Remove!

Some incoming emails with attachments do not allow you to download them - just says "can not receive more". If you forward this email to another BB user or forward it to yourself then you can download the attachment.

I can not spot any pattern as to which emails are affected by this but it appears to be about 25% of the ones I am getting.

Hello,

We have the same problem here (with GW and BES 4.0). The only way i found to get the attachment is to resend the msg (the user foward the email to himself). After that the attachments download without problem. Hopefully the SP1 will correct this problem.

This is a known problem with GWBES - SDR44947. Its supposed to be fixed in SP1 - which was supposed to be out in April. Then May. Now the first week of June.... I'm not too bitter about it...

So you heard June 16 for SP1? Grumble grumble... I shouldn't be surprised considering how many times we've been given a release date only to have it slip, slip again, and slip some more.

Ah well - as long as SP1 actually makes things better rather than worse (like each progressive GW BES beta release) I'll be happy.
