I just bought an 8300 for personal use but would also like access to company email on a Notes server. Is there any way to get around having the Administrator grant access? BB's are only given to the sales group in our company. We have remote access but no BB access.

There is not a way to get the BES wireless synch options and push e-mail without going through the Enterprise Activation for your company.

But if he can access email via the Web he should be able to set it up via BIS. Just won't have calendar and full synch right? I think BIS might be exactly what they need.

That is true. I was more talking about the immediate push e-mail and wireless calendar/task/memo/contact synching.

Simply put, you can't get all the functionality without getting added to the BES. You could use Desktop Manager, and use POP / IMAP polling, or forwarding with BIS to get your email ... but that probably goes against every corporate email policy.
