Default batch to compress an dmove logs

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone have a batch which compress, move to another directory and delete logs. I don't want to keep all logs in the bes because they take some place.
Does the bes have a policy that will delete all old logs, or do i have to configure it ?

Through the BlackBerry Server Configuration application you can set log age and the BES will purge logs older than what you set.

NOTE: It will only start keeping track of logs when you make the setting ... so if you have 90 days of logs there and set the BES to purge after 30 days, it won't purge until 30 days have past and at that only the first day you set the 30 day option.

The other 90 days would need to be manually purged.

In the case where I wouldn't want to purge logs I don't use batch / cmd files to move the logs but rather to zip them ... I'll pull one of my scripts when I get in.
