Default no LCS.ZIP

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

we are using the trial version of BB Enterprise server 4.1 SP4. We are using our carriers offer to test BES together with 5 BB 8800 for 45 days for a fixed price.

When I examine the setup files, I can't find a directory "IM" nor "LCS.zip"

We got LCS 2005 up and working here, and we really want to test it on the Blackberry.

I figure they don't include lcs.zip into the BES 4.1.4 trials.

Is there any chance to get lcs.zip from another source?

Thank you

storm

Did you get a full install? Try downloading SP3 from RIM its in there (at least its in the one 1 have).

Hmmm, sorry to hijack my own thread.

-I successfully installed OC messenger on BB 8800
-LCS 2005 is running (and working, tested with desktop IMs)
-BES is configured for LCS 2005 (FQDN, Port, Protocol)

When I try to connect from the handheld it's logging on forever.

I get this error in the log:

<2007-09-11 20:12:35.875 CEST>:[55]:<BBIM_xxxxxx_BBIM_1>:<DEBUG>:<LAYER = BBIM, DEVICEPIN = 2xxxxxxxx, USERID = u2, EVENT = Exception, METHOD = onLoginRequest, ERRORCODE = IM Service ID not implemented>

Help?
