Has anyone installed Backup Exec 11d server on their BES server?
I currently am running BES 4.1.2 with 15 users on an MSDE instance.
The BES server also does some light file/print duties.

I am looking to migrate my Backup Exec 11d installation to my BES server. All of the backups occur overnight and over the weekend so I am not so much concerned with performance problems at this time.

Should I be worried about conflicts between the MSDE that BES uses and the SQL 2005 Express that Backup Exec 11d uses? Or will they play nicely together? Any other suggestions?

I've never ran a BES as a backup server; and I wouldn't recommend you do it either. I tend to not mix application servers if at all possible. Troubleshooting makes it a nightmare.

That said, SBS works with BES so in theory so should this.
