Default BES and Wireless Reconciliation not working

Please Login to Remove!

We've had our BES installed for less than 24 hours so maybe I don't know as much as I should but...

We currently have a Good server (Good Technlogy) handling all of our BB's and Treos (except for the new ones we are testing on our BES).

When you delete, read, move, a message from you BB or MS Outlook the Good server syncs up your BB and your outlook inbox so they are exactly alike. And this makes sense.

I understand the BES performs a reconciliation every 20 minutes or every 20 actions. Or you can force it from your BB.

The problem is the BB and my Outlook isn't totally syncing up. In Outlook, If I move messages to another folder my BB still shows that message in the inbox on my BB. Delete seems to work as it should but I want my Outlook inbox to mirror my BB inbox.

Anything I can check or uncheck to make sure they match?

I want them to be exactly the same like they perform on the Good server. So If I'm staring at my BB inbox it should be eactly like my Outlook 2003 inbox.

We are using Exchange 2000, BES 4.0.1.13, and 7100g and 7290 BBs

If you are moving to a folder on the Exchange server-side mailbox, then enable "Hide Filed Messages" in your Messages options. If you are moving it to a PST, then no (atleast not that I'm aware of).

That was it--Thank you!!

Now how do I NOT show my sent items in the BB's inbox? If I set "Save Copy In Sent Folder" will that work but still save it in the sent items folder rather than the inbox? Or do I just check "Sent Items" in the Folder Redirection setting?

You can uncheck the Sent Items folder in Folder Redirection to not show sent items on your BB that were sent from your Outlook. However, I'm not sure if you can set it to not show those that were sent from the handheld. If you can, its one of the Email Settings options.
