Default Lost BESadmin password - help - 10-01-2007, 10:00 AM

I have taken over the admin of a Blackberry server for one of our clients. Unfortunately the BESadmin password is not known. If we reset the BESadmin password, is it just a matter of changing the passwords on the BES BESadmin services accounts or are there other settings need changing?

That should be it - just change the logon passwords for all of the services. I've had to change the BES Admin passwords before (due to security issues we had), and everything worked fine after I did those steps.

You'll just need to update the services and restart them. The password isn't hard-coded anywhere else.
