Default BES V4.0 SQL Database

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

As I'm not having much success with a response from the BlackBerry Support team at my mobile provider, I thought I'd turn to the real experts.

I have four new BES for Exchange V4.0 servers in four DC's, with four different BES admin accounts running, one for each server. At present, the DB is sitting on an SQL server and I've been asked by our DB team that it needs to move to another SQL server. I'm aware of the BlackBerry Config Panel where you can change the location of the DB, but I'm after the correct steps and the SQL rights needed for a successful migration, bearing in mind I have four servers that connect to the same SQL DB. Can anybody help me?

As always, many thanks in advance

Cheers
PX

Default

HOWTO Upgrade BES 4.0 Hardware

That should help. The process for moving the database from SQL->SQL is the same as with MSDE->SQL.
