We are pushing out the RSA BB software tokens to our users. I am able to push the app out to everyone so far and not had any problems (cross your fingers). As a test I tried pushing out the software to 5 users who already had the software installed manually. 4 of the 5 users had the Application status go to "Up to date" . One is at "Install required". He DOES have the app installed (been using it for weeks). When I push the app out to new users it is "Installation required" for about 4 hours and then the app is pushed.
My question is.. is there any log files or way to find out why that one user is still at "installation required" even 3 days after the the Soft Config was assigned to him.
The POLC logs document the application checks / installation OTA. Is the one person with the issue a newer device user? Perhaps your server based device.xml needs to be updated to the latest version to account for the newer device model if so, sometimes this can cause issues. Feel free to post POLC log snippets for better feedback as well.

it is just one user.. same pearl as me actually (another IT guy.. it was a test).
I checked to POLC logs (didnt know about them.. thanks). I look at the logs of when he was assigned the config then I look at another user and their log entries. I dont see anything but the obvious differences. I could try reassigning the software config but I dont know how to do that either lol. I will do more digging in the manuals tomorrow.
To reassign it, assign him to <NONE> then back to the software config. I doubt that'll work. I have various users at 'Upgrade Required' for a new application ...it's installed without any issues. Software Configurations is a pain, to say the least.
